maxd is a data storage, management and visualisation environment for microarray based gene expression data constantly being developed and updated by the Microarray Bioinformatics Group at Manchester University.

The term 'maxd' encompasses a modular suite of tools and utilities designed to help researchers get the most out of their microarray data, including: maxdSQL; maxdMaker; maxdLoad; maxdView and maxdSetup.
